“I’m very sad that they took out the lawnmower scene in Misery. Reading the book, it was one of my favorite scenes because it shows just how little Annie cares about the consequences of what she’s doing. I was really looking forward to seeing it done.”
“I’m a horror movie nerd and have seen pretty much everything out there, but after watching Misery, and hearing Beethoven in the background I couldn’t sleep for weeks worrying about a sledge hammer-wielding Kathy Bates.”
“Misery was to funny to be scary. And I never laugh at horror movies. Ever. ”
“Insidious was crap. After watching it, I decided to watch Misery for the first time. PURE GENIUS. I’m more scared of Kathy Bates than a freaking demon with fire on his face.”
“Oddly enough, I think one of the scariest parts of Misery, is the part where she starts impersonating her pig and runs out the room”
omg i literally just laughed out loud hahaha
“scary movies with vampire and werewolves and shit are one thing. but the scariest movies will always be when a regular person is behind it. human nature is the scariest thing of all.”
“Annie from Misery is one of the best horror movie villains of all time”
“I wish more people knew about Misery. It connects so much to todays society with the big obsessions, and its honestly how I see it playing out if girls got to take home that one celeb they LOVE.”
“i am so glad i watched kathy bates in several movies before watching misery. she was so good at being such a terrible character, i would have never been able to watch her in anything else without hating her.”

“I think the best portrayal of a psychopath in any movie is Kathy Bates as Annie Wilkes in Misery.”
