ABOUT ME

This is where you can submit your horror movie confessions or opinions, anonymously or not, and I'll post it with an image to go along with it. All submissions are sent in by other people and they are not my personal opinions. Remember all opinions are different, so please respect the opinions of others. “Why does Jamie-Lee Curtis still look 40 years old in the original Halloween? It completely threw me off. All in all though I loved her character, even though I felt Rob Zombie portrayed Michael Myers more accurately.”

“I would have sooo preferred Zombie’s Halloween to be a prequel instead. The only good parts were with Daeg Faerch, I love him now.”

“One common aspect of horror remakes that I usually find fascinating is the exploration of motives for slasher favorites killing everyone (e.g., Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger); however, at the same time, I feel like adding motives to characters such as these detracts from the scare-factor because it is easier to sympathize with these guys when we know exactly why they’re killing everyone.”

“The only reason I don’t like the Haloween remake is because humanizing Michael took away what was scary about him. He never had any motive or reason, he just wanted to kill people. Out of all the slashers he was the scariest to me.”

“In my opinion, all of the Halloween films (Excepting Season of the Witch) are the best horror films out there, even Rob Zombie’s remakes. A lot of people think I’m out of my mind when I say Michael Myers is the most handsome killer ever.”

“Without trying to sound like a horror movie elitist, I just think six out five times, that the original is ALWAYS better than the remake.”

“I think Rob Zombie’s Halloween was better than the original. It delved deeper into the life of Michael Myers, the acting was superb, and it was more aesthetically pleasing which is actually very important to me.”
