"Audition is getting an English remake (via: Bloody Disgusting), its really sad that it’s happening. I find it even worse that people can’t appreciate foreign films because they bitch about having to read. So these wonderful films get bastardized and americanized and the beauty is lost in someone’s translation. It’s like a piece of sloppy forged artwork based on money making opinions. Everything the original had is lost, and honestly, I’d hope I’d be dead before Audition was remade."
“I am disappointed with the Japanese horror film, “The Audition”. I watched it because so many people told me it was terrifying, so I prepared for it to be one of the scariest movies I had ever seen, but I didn’t think it was scary. It sort of just made me want to vomit.”
“Audition is supposed to be one of the best horror movies made, but the first half is so boring and slow that I can’t get through it no matter how many times I try.”
"I am in love with Asami Yamazaki. She’s so precious. I often fantasize about us torturing men together then making sweet love. I’m a bisexual girl,by the way."
“On a first date, I took someone to see a screening of Audition. Halfway through, she got up, said she had to go the bathroom, and never came back.”
“I actually laughed during “disturbing” scenes while watching Audition. I guess I’ve been desensitized from all of the stuff that I’ve seen.”
“The burlap sack moving when the phone rings in Audition startled me half to death.”
“In my eyes, ‘Audition’ is the most perfectly crafted horror film out there. Totally sets you up to see Shigeharu as the sweetest guy in the world, making it all the more horrifying and upsetting when Asami is slicing his foot off!”
“The music and mood in the movie Audition is so beautiful. And makes it hands down a great film in my book.”
