“Devil’s Pass could have been so good! That story is so awesome, they could have done so much better with it in a movie. It just ended up being really cheesy.”

“It really bothers me that in the Nightmare on Elm street remake they rewrote Freddy Kreuger as basically a pedophile. He was a much better character in the originals. This is a huge reason I don’t like the remake in anyway I felt that rewrite was just odd and unnecessary.”
Well he was a pedophile in the original they just couldn’t make it as obvious because it was the 80’s and people wouldn’t take well to it.

“I could watch a man get dismembered and a woman get her ribcage ripped opened but if I see a character in a horror movie get slightly pricked by a needle I get squeemish.”

“I didn’t find The Exorcist scary at all. it was predictable, and was just plain gross. it was a grotesque movie with mediocre acting, and it really disappoints me that people consider it one of the greats.”

“I feel like 90% of the people on here don’t understand how horror movies work. Its not all jump scares, the “villains” don’t have to be 100% evil. Everyone associates supernatural being, ghosts, especially with evil. You come to understand and appreciate horror movies more when you have an understanding of what supernatural beings actually are, if you understand how society works, and if you understand how the human psyche works. Most people just judge on if they jumped or not.”

“The Descent is one of my favorite modern horror movies, but I really would just like to place the American ending and the sequel on a boat and send them FAR, FAR AWAY.”
