Anonymous asked: whats the nicest thing anyones ever said to u
Just saw this mixed in with the confessions. But I mean idk I could say the things that guys have said to me, all that mushy stuff or whatever, or I can say something that actually means something to me. Yeah, I’ll go with that.
I’ll never forget this one time when my dad asked me how much I loved him. I was about 4 or 5 at the time so I spread my arms apart and said “this much.” Me being a wee lad I thought this was a huge amount and he went along with it saying he was amazed at how much I loved him. So then I said, “well daddy how much do you love me?” And he said, “well Syd, I love you as much as the sky.” Now you probably think, oh thats the same as something like, I love you to the moon and back, but no, two completely different things.
When I asked him what that meant, he responded by saying, “well Syd, I love you as much as the sky because the sky goes on forever and it never, ever ends.” He told me he loved me as much as the sky everyday up until the day he died.
To the moon and back is a set distance and it eventually ends, but the sky itself never does.
“While The Ring was a bit scarier than Ringu, I found that I can enjoy Ringu much better because I felt more for the characters. I could empathize with everybody in Ringu more than The Ring and I felt the emotions better because of the way the characters were portrayed. This, though, doesn’t mean that I hate The Ring. There were some things that The Ring did that I liked as well (mostly the fact that they investigated the tape more), although it didn’t have as much of the atmosphere as Ringu.”

“I thought the best part about The Evil Dead (1981) is the creative way they moved the camera and created the gore. Also, the absurd amount of gore was fantastic and sickening.”

“It makes me mad that people argue about zombies when the concept themselves (at least the “traditional western” concepts) are relativity new compared to other monsters. Frankly, the original vampire started off as slow moving undead too, and look how they’ve evolved.”

“I didn’t think the first grave encounters was that great, but I was really impressed with the sequel!”

“I really want to see a Frankenstein movie that’s really true to the book. The one with Robert De Niro was great! But an honest-to-goodness adaption is all I want.”

“I am in complete love with American Horror Story, even if it’s not something that would make you jump. I watched season 1 and it was so addicting. I can’t wait to start season 2.”

“I watched House Of Wax by accident by walking into the wrong theater. By the time I figured out it was the wrong movie, it was too late to walk out…and I DID want to watch Paris Hilton die… ”

“I wish more people would give Hood of Horrors a chance. It wasn’t necessarily scary but it had your interest from start to finish, had a good storyline and a reminder that karma’s a bitch. I would’ve loved to see this get a sequel or an ongoing series”
